A Snapshot of Your Day
Join the Sales Central - Program Business Sales Professional team as a customer-facing sales professional responsible for negotiating major service contracts, including Long Term Programs (LTPs) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreements. You will engage directly with senior customer representatives, develop technical and financial proposals for large gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet both customer needs and Siemens Energy’s financial targets.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Serve as lead on a team responsible for formulating offer strategies, including duration, scope, terms and conditions, guarantees, and related factors, to support both Siemens Energy’s' objectives and customer requirements.
+ Oversee the process of creating and presenting offers to management for approval (such as LOA Meetings/Presentations).
+ Manage assigned projects throughout negotiation and contract execution phases.
+ Maintain internal tools and approval systems necessary for forecasting and business process compliance (for example, Salesforce.com, PM@Siemens and the LOA SharePoint signature system).
+ Provide input for developing financial cost models that incorporate major upgrades, unique scopes, and digital products within the LTP portfolio.
What You Bring
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales or Marketing. 5+ years of experience in field of combined cycle power plants.
+ Excellent negotiating abilities; discussing contract terms and conditions as well as technical scopes of work.
+ Proficiency in written and verbal communication; effective approach in team and customer settings.
+ Financial acumen to create payment schedules and understanding of accounting principles which dictate how Siemens Service programs recognize revenue.
+ Ability to develop customer specific solutions through creative and critical thinking to help grow the business.
+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
