Overview
As a **Senior Solution Development Architect – SNBG** (SSDA) you are highly skilled with 13 to 15 years of experience working with Sales professionals to solution, demonstrate and propose the transformative nature of the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate and share on a wide range of ServiceNow solutions. This role requires an experienced professional who can effectively communicate and collaborate with multi-tower and multi-sales line professionals: Client Partners (CP), Client Relationship Managers (CRM), Account Executives (AE) and Engagement Delivery Leaders (EDL).
**Location:** Based anywhere in the United States (Hybrid, up to 5% of the time for client travel )
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with CP, CRM, AE, and EDL for renewals to develop a differentiated winnable and deliverable solution that underpins the client value proposition and business case using in depth knowledge of ServiceNow functionality and the platform.
• Define overall ServiceNow solution architecture including scope, risks, cost to serve level of automation, and our ability to deliver and respond to opportunities within the sales team’s area of specialization.
• Partner with GSA (Global Solutions Architecture) to stitch together different parts of the portfolio when developing solutions that include multiple practices. Leverage technical and delivery knowledge to provide input on the business side and other practical aspects of proposals. Contribute to kick off the delivery of the solution, once the deal is converted, and continue to provide guidance until client delivery commences, ensuring that solutions are delivered at the highest quality standards.
• Maintain and manage technical documentation and ensure that all solutions are well documented and easily maintained. Operating Model & Deployment Rules Deployed to all deals except staff augmentation opportunities getting involved primarily post Stage 2 in deal pursuits.
• Responsible for front-ending non-transformative small deals (less than $1M TCV) alongside CP & CRM when Service Line Specialist is not deployed.
• Primarily offshore delivery (less than 25% onsite). Rating based performance management driven by the following factors: TCV won and solutioned
Experience & Competencies
Required Background:
• 13-15 years experience overall, and 7+ years’ experience designing and implementing complex **ServiceNow** technical solutions for large enterprises with demonstrated impact Knowledge of specific technology function, platform and industry
• Strong understanding of software architecture design patterns principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex technical and business problems and develop creative scalable secure solutions as a **ServiceNow pre-sales / presales solutions architect consultant**
• Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Understands consultative selling and can front-end non-transformative small deals (less than $1M TCV) alongside CPs & CRMs in the absence of ServiceNow - Sales Line Specialist.
• B.E., B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, MCA or any other engineering degree in Computer Science or IT-related field.
Certifications Required
Minimum: Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM, and ITIL Foundation Certification
Work Authorization
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until December 7, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $175,000 - $210,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
