We are experiencing growth and we are looking for a Sustainment Engineer in Orlando, FL\!
You will be the Sustainment Engineering Point of Contact \(POC\) for the Sniper program\. Our team safeguards mission readiness by managing the end to end supply chain, repair cycles, and spare parts logistics for this high visibility defense platform\.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sustainment POC you will be the central hub for all repair, retrofit, and spare parts activities on the Sniper system\. You’ll partner with Global Supply Chain, Depot Operations, and field units to set schedules, track deliveries, and guarantee compliance with contractual and budgetary requirements while driving continuous improvement of logistics processes\.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Manage supplier initiated repairs, retrofits, and spare parts requisitions from request through delivery\.
• Coordinate packaging, containerization, and tooling issues to ensure secure hardware shipment\.
• Maintain and continuously improve sustain procedures, including replenishment, demand management, and electronic data system administration\.
• Liaise with Global Supply Chain, Production Operations, shipping/traffic, customers, base field representatives, and program management to align schedules and resolve logistics challenges\.
• Monitor Estimated Acquisition Costs \(EACs\) and budget expenditures to keep the program on financial track\.
• Generate status reports, performance metrics, and risk assessments for senior leadership\.
• Identify and implement logistics best practice improvements that boost efficiency and reduce cost\.

This position is in Orlando, FL\.
MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.
Basic Qualifications:
• CAM experience; understanding of budgets and basic supply support\.
• Good communication skills and computer skills including the Microsoft suite of applications\.
• Must be flexible and agile to work in a dynamic, high pace environment\.
• Must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.

• Ability to work in a cross\-functional IPT environment

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
