What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, remaining calm and using problem-solving skills during incidents and critical situations.

+ Conduct regular and random security-related patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities.

+ Work collaboratively with staff, visitors, and patients to help maintain a welcoming and orderly environment.

+ Document and maintain logs of incidents and patrols in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as those specific to the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
