As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a prominent government location. This position requires both an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license, as you will conduct regular patrols of assigned areas by vehicle and/or foot. You will remain highly visible, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong presence. What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols in and around government facilities and designated perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activities.
+ Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns observed during patrols throughout the location.
+ Follow post orders for armed personnel, including proper handling and storage of assigned equipment and/or weapons.
+ Work closely with public officials and staff to support security-related needs and contribute to a secure environment.
+ Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts as required by Allied Universal.
+ Participate in ongoing training and drills specific to armed patrol duties and site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Experience with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
