    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to support a cutting-edge Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solution designed to enhance design decision-making across multiple mission-critical U.S. Navy programs. The successful candidate will develop custom APIs and plugins that interface with CAMEO Systems Modeler, enabling seamless data extraction and integration across complex systems models.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and maintain Java-based APIs and plugins for CAMEO Systems Modeler.

    + Enable automated extraction and transformation of model data to support analytics and decision-making.

    + Collaborate with systems engineers and stakeholders to understand model structures and data requirements.

    + Integrate MBSE tools with broader enterprise systems and data pipelines.

    + Ensure scalability, performance, and security of developed solutions.

    + Document code, APIs, and integration workflows for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

    JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

    + 2+ years of Java development experience, including plugin and API creation.

    + Experience with CAMEO Systems Modeler or similar MBSE tools.

    + Eligible for a Secret Clearance.

    + Familiarity with SysML, UML, and model-based engineering principles.

    + Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices.

    + Experience supporting Department of Defense or Navy programs.

    + Knowledge of digital engineering, data analytics, or enterprise architecture.

    + Familiarity with RESTful APIs, XML/JSON data formats, and integration frameworks.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Manassas, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
