    Description

    We are looking for a highly organized Controller to oversee document management and ensure efficient handling of records and files for our organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in maintaining accurate documentation and streamlining processes. Located in Oakland, California, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Oversee all accounting functions: billing, AR/AP, general ledger, inventory, and revenue recognition

    + Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for month-end close

    + Deliver weekly/monthly financial reports with budget-to-actual analysis

    + Maintain accuracy and transparency in financial transactions and reporting

    + Ensure compliance with tax and government reporting requirements

    + Lead annual budget and cash forecast planning

    + Manage cash flow, optimizing collections and vendor payments

    + Implement and maintain inventory management systems

    + Improve financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CMA preferred

    + 5+ years accounting experience, including 2+ in a controller or leadership role

    + Skilled in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Enterprise) and system optimization

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and manufacturing cost accounting

    + Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

    + Proficient in financial planning, analysis, and modeling

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities

    + Collaborative and adaptable in fast-paced environments
