What Matters Most

To be successful as a licensed physical therapist assistant at Arc of Onondaga, you must be licensed and registered by the New York State Department of Education, ensuring that you meet the professional standards for this role. A valid NYS driver's license is also required. While one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, a passion for supporting and empowering people is essential. Strong communication skills are vital for effectively engaging with coworkers, the community and people supported as well as a focus and attention to detail for accurate documentation.
