    Our client, in the manufacturing and industrial sector, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting capital investment projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Project Engineer

    **Location:** Waverly, IA

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Oversee capital investments related to fixed assets, including relocation and optimization of existing assets or procurement of new assets.

    + Manage projects from conceptual studies through to project closeout, ensuring all phases meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to facilitate project success.

    + Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout project execution.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety and operational excellence.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.

    + 1-3 years of significant experience in project engineering within a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to work onsite in Waverly, IA, with occasional travel for factory acceptance testing and equipment evaluation.

    + Experience in project management, plant design, equipment procurement, and process engineering.

    + Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with knowledge of regulatory requirements for food safety and equipment.
