Our client is seeking a dedicated Production Cook to join their team. As a Production Cook, you will be an essential part of the kitchen operations supporting food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a passion for quality food, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Production Cook

**Location:** Marquette, MI

**Pay Range:** $17.34 per Hour

**Shift:** Variable shifts, days, and locations, including afternoon and weekend shifts. Typical shift start times are between the hours of 6:00 am and 1:00 pm, based on scheduled events.

What's the Job?

+ Engage in customer service within dining hall food service, including cash operations, banquets, and catering.

+ Check menu items, portion sizes, prices, and table arrangements, adjusting workload as needed.

+ Prepare food and beverage items such as coffee, tea, soup, sandwiches, grill orders, and other short-order items.

+ Perform various duties including washing, cleaning, preparing, mixing, frying, slicing, setting up, serving, stocking, and maintaining inventory.

+ Operate a variety of equipment including cash registers, mixers, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen tools.

What's Needed?

+ At least 18 months of food service experience in a high-volume kitchen setting.

+ Experience in cooking, salad preparation, handling cash, and operating cash registers is preferred.

+ Food Service Sanitation Certification is a plus.

+ Demonstrated leadership ability and willingness to improve skills.

+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
