    Olsten Staffing Services is currently assisting a local Distribution Center in their search to fill a Maintenance Technician position in Manning, SC. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Responsible for maintenance of all Production Equipment, Support Equipment and Facility operations. Responsible for trouble shooting and repair of both mechanical and electrical problems as required for maintaining plant operations.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Perform periodic maintenance of all production and support equipment.

    + Respond and analyze all equipment emergencies, determine the plan of action needed and execute.

    + Analyze and plan scheduled maintenance functions.

    + Identify and maintain all spare parts required for maintaining production and support equipment.

    + Establish contact with equipment suppliers in determining equipment specifications, spare parts lists, etc. as required.

    + Must have technical problem-solving skills and be able to utilize technical reference materials, schematics, various tools and techniques.

    + Work closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.

    + Observe all OSHA rules and guidelines when working with equipment.

    + Technicians are required to supply their own standard tools (hand tools, power tools, accessories and chargers, etc.). "Specialized" tools will be provided by On Time.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    + Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

    + Experience with Preventative Maintenance Software desired.

    + Strong background in equipment maintenance; both mechanical and electrical. Knowledge of PLC controls desired

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in an equipment maintenance environment

    + High School diploma minimum. Associate degree in math or science desired

    + Experience managing projects of varying complexity and scope.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Blueprint and schematic interpretation.

    + Able to work overtime as needed.

    + Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required PPE.

    + Able to report to work on time each work day.

    + Must have positive attitude and strong work ethics

    WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. The warehouse area is not climate controlled and can get hot during summer and cold during winter months. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harness and gloves. Must be able to hear, speak, reach, bend, twist, squat, push and pull. Must be able to perform tasks in a standing or sitting position for extended periods of time.

     

    Work Schedule would be Monday thru Friday, 4:30am to 1pm.

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
