Project Architect – Institutional Renovation Focus
About the Role:
Are you a creative and experienced architect passionate about transforming institutional spaces? We’re looking for a Project Architect to lead design efforts for renovation projects in the education and healthcare sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team working on meaningful projects that shape communities.
You’ll be at the forefront of design innovation—assessing existing spaces, interpreting programmatic needs, and crafting thoughtful, compelling solutions. If you thrive in client-facing roles and enjoy working across all phases of design, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
+ Lead design development for renovation projects in institutional settings.
+ Analyze existing layouts and programs to create impactful design concepts.
+ Produce high-quality documentation across all phases using Revit.
+ Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants.
+ Present design ideas confidently to clients and stakeholders.
What You Bring:
+ 8+ years of architectural experience, with a strong portfolio in institutional renovations.
+ Expertise in Revit across all design phases (Pre-Design through Construction Administration).
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
+ Strong verbal and visual communication skills for presentations and team collaboration.
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (BArch or MArch).
+ Familiarity with NYC building codes and renovation protocols is a plus.
Bonus Skills:
+ Experience with Construction Administration.
+ Knowledge of institutional design standards and compliance.

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
