Job Title: Surveyor
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently complete various surveying tasks and provide field surveying or construction staking services. The role involves using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other survey software to conduct topographic surveys, construction layouts, and the development of certified survey maps, plats of survey, and ALTA surveys.
Responsibilities
+ Complete various surveying tasks assigned by the project manager.
+ Perform field surveying or construction staking services, including construction observation.
+ Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other survey software for topographic surveys and construction layout.
+ Develop certified survey maps, plats of survey, and ALTA surveys.
+ Operate Robotic Total Station/GPS and data collection systems.
+ Assist in tracking project budgets and billing obligations as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in GPS technology.
+ Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Civil 3D.
+ Experience with survey software and Robotic Total Station.
+ Knowledge of topographic and ALTA surveys.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or associate degree in surveying, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related field.
+ 2+ years of experience in surveying or construction staking.
+ Professional Land Surveyor License/Registration is a plus.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omro, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
