    Overview

    **Position:** Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics

    **Location:** 932 Oakfield Dr., Brandon, FL 33511

    **Schedule:** Full Time, Monday through Friday

    **Compensation:** $25/hr – $30/hr, based on experience

    **Incentives:** $5,000 sign-on bonus and an ongoing student loan repayment option of $200/month

     

    Select Physical Therapy’s outpatient center in Brandon, FL is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. You’ll work alongside 4 Physical Therapists, 1.5 Occupational Therapists, and 1 PTA, treating a diverse outpatient orthopedic population. Our center offers specialized services in neuro rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, concussion management, sports medicine, pelvic health, and hand therapy.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

    + Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

    + Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

    Qualifications

    + College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

    + Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

    + Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

    + CPR certification
