    Description

    Ready to take the next step in your accounting career? The Staff Accountant plays a vital role with our well-established client within the finance and accounting department, contributing to key business operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

    + Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.

    + Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

    + Maintain general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions.

    + Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support compliance and reporting requirements.

    + Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing necessary documentation and insight.

    + Participate in the implementation of accounting controls and process improvements.

    + Handle ad hoc projects and reporting as requested by management.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    + 3+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred.

    + Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

    + Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
