Job Title: Plate Roller

We are seeking a Plate Roller to set up and operate a plate roller on a roll forming line. The role involves forming longitudinal bends, rolls, and profiles, setting up and adjusting digital dies, and operating machines to roll shell plates to required degrees. The candidate will check angles with a cutout to ensure specifications are met and operate secondary equipment associated with the roll forming process, including handling materials with overhead cranes.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years experience operating a roll machine.

+ Experience rolling steel plate or angle iron.

+ Knowledge of roll form tooling and maintenance.

+ Proficiency with various hand tools, including angle grinders, drills, and polishers.

+ Ability to read blueprints and drawings.

Work Environment

The position starts on a day shift, working Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturdays as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77040.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
