The cook prepares and cooks meals according to hospital menus, dietary guidelines, and patient needs. This role ensures food safety, quality, and sanitation standards are met while contributing to a positive dining experience for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and cook meals following hospital menus and dietary guidelines.

+ Ensure food safety, quality, and sanitation standards are consistently met.

+ Contribute to a positive dining experience for patients, staff, and visitors.

+ Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of food according to standardized recipes and menus.

+ Utilize prior experience with cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.

+ Implement knowledge of cooking procedures and methods, including grilling, baking, and boiling.

+ Adhere to all sanitation and food safety standards while maintaining a clean kitchen.

+ Prepare food promptly at specified meal times.

Work Environment

The position is based in a hospital environment. Candidates must be able to work weekends and have open availability.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
