Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Night Shift (Food Manufacturing)

**Location:** Longmont, CO

**Schedule:** 2-2-3 rotating schedule, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

**Training:** First shift for approximately 60 days

**Pay:** $39.18/hr + $3.00/hr shift differential = $42.18/hr

Job Summary

**We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician** to join our food manufacturing team. This role is responsible for both preventative and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, including conveyor systems and packaging machinery, in a GMP-compliant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical experience, a safety-first mindset, and experience in industrial maintenance—preferably in food production.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and conveyor systems.

+ Maintain equipment and documentation to meet OSHA and EPA compliance.

+ Manufacture consumer foods in accordance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

+ Input and maintain accurate records using computer systems.

+ Follow and improve operational, maintenance, and sanitation standards.

+ Conduct equipment changeovers and sanitation procedures.

+ Complete work orders and lubrication tasks to optimize equipment performance.

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic components including:

+ Conveyor belts, bearings, motors, pulleys, shafts, gearboxes

+ Air cylinders, diverters, hoses, regulators, pumps, valves

+ Use blueprints, drawings, and manuals for maintenance and repair tasks.

Top Skills Required

+ **Mechanical Maintenance:** Minimum 3+ years in industrial mechanical maintenance (2+ years if in food manufacturing). Facilities-only experience does not qualify.

+ **Safety:** Strong commitment to safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

+ **Blueprint Reading:** Ability to comprehend and work from blueprints and work orders.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous experience in a GMP-regulated food manufacturing environment.

+ Familiarity with SOPs, GMPs, and safety policies.

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

The pay range for this position is $87360.00 - $87360.00/yr.
