    Job Description

    Join our team as a CNC Machinist and Programmer, where you will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts. Your expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models will be essential to our production process.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.

    + Write, edit, and troubleshoot G-code programs for efficient machining.

    + Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain part quality.

    + Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.

    + Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes as required by specifications.

    + Monitor machine performance and conduct routine maintenance.

    + Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes.

    + Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, conversational, or CAM-based).

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with troubleshooting and programming CNC machinery.

    + Knowledge of maintaining and adjusting CNC machines for optimal performance.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled shop with flexible scheduling options, allowing you to set your own hours as long as you work 8-hour shifts. The shop operates from 6 am to 5 pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
