•$24-25/hr with a Pay Raise to $30/hr When Hired On
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team. The role involves rebuilding valves for tanks that will eventually be filled with chlorine. This process is akin to working with propane tank valves. Once the valves are rebuilt, you will operate equipment to press and pressurize the valve onto the top of the tank. Completed tanks will be moved with a forklift to staging or shipping areas. Over time, you will learn to fill the tanks with chlorine, although this responsibility is typically assigned after full employment. Additional duties include cleaning, prepping, and removing old labels from the tanks. This role primarily involves general labor with some use of a sit-down forklift.
Responsibilities
+ Rebuild valves for chlorine tanks.
+ Operate equipment to pressurize valves onto tanks.
+ Transport completed tanks with a forklift to staging or shipping areas.
+ Learn and eventually fill tanks with chlorine.
+ Clean, prep, and remove old labels from tanks.
+ Engage in general labor tasks and occasional forklift operation.

Work Environment
This utility role primarily operates in Saint Paul, with occasional assistance required at the Rosemount plant. The work environment is industrial and involves some exposure to chemicals, often carrying an ammonia odor. Protective wear, including face shields, glasses, and rubber suits, is provided for chemical handling. The core hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for overtime. The environment is kept clean relative to the type of work conducted, and there is ample opportunity for career growth

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
