    Description

    REPORTS TO:

    Senior VP of Operations

    ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    + Responsible for leading site operations

    + Promote the company’s vision and values, leading the way in demonstrating Belvika’s people culture, to ensure that the team feels valued, heard and appreciated;

    + Ensure all requirements relating to security, health and safety, environment and quality are being fully implemented and are consistently respected at all responsible site operations;

    + Support the development and governance of an Enterprise Operational Excellence program, focused on fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement and overall efficiencies across all business operations;

    + Responsible for ensuring that SOPs reflect the operations workflow and are in accordance with customer SOPs or work procedures, as required;

    + Ensure that the entire team at all sites have clear and realistic targets, along with the necessary tools to be successful;

    + Create and cultivate good business relationships with customers and other industry players;

    + Responsible to ensure that customer KPI's and metrics are met and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews;

    + Anticipate and respond quickly to customers’ needs and changes – proactively seeking out information from the customer to ensure customer success;

    + Being consistently visible within the facility – provide an approachable and open-minded style, of leadership;

    + Actively seek out new business opportunities from current customers and support the development of new service offerings or revenue opportunities with Sales & Account Management Team;

    + Develop staffing to ensure full-time staff are in key roles at each operation;

    + Work with our key temporary agency suppliers to ensure continuity and adequacy of staffing levels at all times;

    + Develop and implement professional development and succession planning programs;

    + Build relationships with current vendors and suppliers to support current and new operations;

    + Develop and implement operational tactics for controlling operating costs and improving efficiencies within all operations;

    + Contribute to the Finance Department in the annual budget process and managing the operational performance to maximize the locations’ profitability;

    + Responsible for ensuring that the information technology available is used properly and for identifying opportunities for IT developments;

    + Build out the operations process

    + KPI Development

    + Achieve operation excellence

    + Collaborate with the Senior Director of Operational Excellence and C.I.

    + Step into a director role as needed to step into business continuity

    + Other duties as assigned in the normal course of business

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelors degree in a technical field/business required

    + 10-15 years’+ experience in a Management role

    + Operational Excellence program leadership, management or development experience.

    + Direct management of professionals to achieve local and national objectives.

    + A proven record of accomplishments in continuous improvement events/projects, team leadership and problem-solving, demonstrated success initiating change and influencing at all levels.

    + Strong coaching experience, extensive application of Operational Excellence methods and tools.

    + Strong technical and management skills in materials and inventory management, production scheduling and preventative maintenance.

    + Ability to hire and retain required personnel

    + Consistent with business growth build out a team capable of delivering world class, continuous improvement, solid production and facility management success.

    + Must be a team player, willing to work in a fast-paced environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

    + Excellent project and program management skills

    + Proficient in MS Office, SAP, 5S

    Salary Description

    $170,000 yearly
