Description
Responsible for all product support for a strategic mining account(s). This role will support the Mine Site Manager. This role is heavily focused on building and growing relationships while continuing to provide ways of achieving the lowest cost per hour solutions. This individual will lead their respective Technician Team Leads, while helping open and close jobs, and operate as the acting Site Manager when Mine Site Manager is not available.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Promote Safety and Safe work practices at the mines and throughout the WMC organization.
+ Develop and implement strategies that ensure Wheeler solutions are aligned with mine objectives.
+ Develop strong relationships with key mine personnel at all levels to meet and exceed our customers' needs.
+ Be a main point of contact for Wheeler by mine personnel for all parts and service needs.
+ Deliver on Site Specific targets for Caterpillar/Wheeler products
+ Responsible for hitting market share targets
+ Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Safety minded and focused
+ Driven and dedicated to the success of Wheeler Mining Systems and our Customers
+ Excellent communication and relationship management skills
+ Advanced understanding of our mining customers and experience working with them.
+ Ability to identify and understand what success looks like for our customers, and ability to help them achieve it
+ 5+ years of product support sales / supervision
+ Intimate knowledge of Caterpillar Mining Products
+ Travel Details: Up to 50% of time depending on location.
