SFS is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Wyomissing, PA. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual who will thrive in a fast-paced environment while working in collaboration with our professional, supportive and passionate finance team!

This Staff Accountant role will primarily focus on executing accurate and timely accounting tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Responsibilities

+ Support the organization by monitoring and enforcing financial policies, procedures and controls consistent with SFS Group guidelines

+ Support monthly, quarterly and year end close, including assigned journal entries, account reconciliations and accruals

+ Perform daily cash reconciliations

+ Support the administration of the company commercial credit card program

+ Perform regular intercompany reconciliations

+ Process and remit sales tax

+ Participate in the development and monitoring of best practices for payables and receivables

+ Participate in the annual budgets and year end financial audits

The Ideal Candidate

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field highly preferred

+ Minimum of two years of accounting experience in a manufacturing industry preferred

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with ability to create VLOOKUP's and pivot tables required

+ Exceptional ability to work with systems in a digital environment

+ Attention to detail and accuracy required
