    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Newhall SchoolDistrict

     

    Pay Range: $18 – $23 per hour

     

    License Requirement: Must hold an active California CNA certification

     

    About the Role

     

    As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) , you’ll playa vital role in supporting patient care under the supervision of licensednurses and healthcare professionals. Your compassion and dedication will helpensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of those you serve.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

    + Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate)

    + Support mobility and transfers (beds, wheelchairs, walking assistance)

    + Provide nutrition support and track intake

    + Observe and report changes in patient condition

    + Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

    + Offer emotional support and companionship

    + Assist with medical procedures and accurate documentation
