Your Impact:

+ Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, stakers, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.

+ Rotates in other work cells as directed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.

+ Packs finished product for shipment.

+ Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

+ Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.

+ Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.

Qualifications - External

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

+ Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred.

+ Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.

+ Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.

+ Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.

Physical Demands:

+ Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

+ Bending body downward and forward at the waist.

+ Standing for sustained periods of time.

+ Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is $19.50 per hour, plus a $3.00 shift differential
