    The role you'll contribute:

    Provides diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures for both inpatients and outpatients through the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the safe operation of various types of imaging counting and computer equipment. Maintains accurate records of radioactive materials from receipt through administration and disposal. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

    + Processes radiopharmaceuticals from receipt and preparation through administration and disposal in a safe and efficient manner.

    + Prepares patient for exam. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.

    + Assists the patient during exam and positions the patient.

    + Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports / documents unusual occurrences and records patients condition.

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

    **Required qualifications** :

    + High School Grad or Equiv

    + (N) ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech OR NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech

    + Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
