As a Floater, you’ll step into classrooms across age groups (infants, toddlers, and preschoolers) to provide consistent care, support teachers, and ensure every child has what they need to thrive.

    What You’ll DoAs a Floater, you will:

    + Support classrooms as needed, assisting teachers in maintaining a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

    + Help implement daily routines, including mealtimes, rest, play, and instructional activities.

    + Engage with children in meaningful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

    + Assist with classroom management, transitions, and individual support for children.

    + Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff to create a strong sense of community.

    + Step in wherever needed—including mealtime support, or transitions—to keep daily operations running smoothly.

     

    Who You Are

    We’re looking for someone who is:

    + Caring, dependable, and flexible, able to adapt quickly to different classroom needs.

    + Passionate about supporting children’s development and well-being.

    + A strong team player, able to collaborate with teachers and staff.

    + Reflective and growth-minded, with a willingness to learn.

    + Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus!

    Minimum Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred).

    + Pass a physical exam and background check.

    + Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required.

    + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
