    We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our climate solutions and special projects group, focusing on cooling projects for data centers. In this role, you will work on electrical design for outdoor chillers, which includes designing industrial control panels, creating BOMs, and developing wiring diagrams. This position plays a crucial part in our mission to deliver cutting-edge thermal management solutions for data centers across the United States.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and maintain proprietary electrical design systems for data center cooling products.

    + Create electrical wiring schematics, panel/terminal layout drawings, and wire loom documentation.

    + Participate in design meetings and communicate effectively with project coordinators, design team members, and application engineers.

    + Coordinate the panel-build and line wiring for prototype and production units with internal or external employees.

    + Consider all aspects of product operation in the design of an electrical/control system, ensuring compliance, enhancements, and safety.

    + Liaise with project leadership and mechanical engineering personnel to create structured product configurable super BOMs.

    + Lead and instruct the design group on controls and electrical design of products.

    + Coordinate project scheduling, purchasing components, evaluating new products, preparing manuals, and maintaining permanent project records.

    + Enhance skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and external seminars, and apply new developments in electrical design to enhance machinery and processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

    + 5+ years of experience designing industrial control panels using AutoCAD Electrical.

    + Familiarity with BOMs, sizing components, wiring diagrams, circuit breakers, compressors, sensors, and water pumps.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with UL508A standards.

    + Proficiency in PLC programming.

    + Experience with chillers, compressors, water pumps, and industrial controls.

    Work Environment

    This position offers a hybrid work environment, with the expectation to be onsite in Racine at least 1-2 times per week. The role includes travel up to 20% to main plants.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $96000.00 - $144000.00/yr.
