    Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

    Job Description

    The Civil Design Engineer will play a crucial role in all land development projects. This position involves conducting zoning inspections and designing detailed site layouts for various roadways and utility runs. The engineer will frequently work with and mentor junior-level staff members. Experience with stormwater design, Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling, or Erosion and Sediment Control planning is considered advantageous.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct zoning inspections and design site layouts for roadways and utility runs.

    + Mentor and collaborate with junior-level staff members.

    + Utilize Civil 3D and other design tools to facilitate project completion.

    + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal permits and ordinances.

    + Participate in stormwater management design calculations, if applicable.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in civil design for roadways or land development.

    + Proficiency in Civil 3D and civil engineering practices.

    + Knowledge of local, state, and federal permits and ordinances.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + P.E license in Pennsylvania (preferred).

    + Familiarity with CAD Civil 3D or Bluebeam.

    + Experience with stormwater management (SWM) design calculations.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves using advanced design software such as Civil 3D, and potentially Bluebeam, to support project development. The position requires collaboration with a team, including mentoring junior staff, in an office setting focused on civil engineering and land development projects.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Bethlehem, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
