Job Title: Application EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Application Engineer who excels in sales and has a strong presence in front of customers. The ideal candidate must possess expertise in automation, conveyor systems, and equipment design. While teaching experience in the pharmaceutical field is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
+ Engage with customers effectively and provide exceptional sales support.
+ Utilize expertise in automation, conveyors, and equipment to enhance customer solutions.
+ Design and develop equipment and systems using SolidWorks and CAD tools.
+ Collaborate with teams to teach pharmaceutical concepts when necessary.
+ Ensure the successful implementation of engineering solutions in customer environments.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience designing equipment and systems in mail order, central fill, specialty, healthcare systems, and/or pet pharmacies.
+ 3+ years of related experience as an Application or Project Engineer in the pharmaceutical fulfillment industry.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Navision.
+ Expertise in warehouse design elements including conveyors, sortation, print and apply, dispensing, packaging, scanners, and other equipment used in Pharma operation centers.
+ Deep understanding of designing equipment and systems in mail order, central-fill, specialty, hospital outpatient, and PET pharmacy fulfillment and distribution center operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
+ Robust design skills in the development of new equipment or redesign of current equipment to improve system operations.
+ Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customers feel valued and prioritized.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with the flexibility to work in any time zone. The role requires 25 – 30% travel, primarily domestic, to tension locations and customer sites. Employees have the ability to expense travel-related costs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Aurora, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
