Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for completing welding of prefabricated assemblies, setting up welding machines unassisted for various processes or material thicknesses, and operating a variety of fabrication equipment. You will fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints and must have the ability to read and interpret these blueprints accurately.
Responsibilities
+ Complete welding of prefabricated assemblies.
+ Setup welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness.
+ Operate a variety of fabrication equipment such as plate rollers, saws, pipe rollers, and drill presses.
+ Fabricate and weld complex assemblies from a blueprint.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Essential Skills
+ 4+ years of welding experience.
+ Proficiency in MIG welding.
+ Knowledge of GMAW and FCAW processes.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with stainless steel, fabrication, and flux core welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to operate other fabrication equipment such as plate roller, saw, pipe roller, and drill press.
+ Capability to fabricate complex assemblies unassisted.

Work Environment
Work in a fabrication shop that is non-climate controlled, which can become hot. The shop is equipped with a great weld cell layout and newer equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
