Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
Responsible for ensuring that products released for customer shipments meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Perform inspection and testing in accordance with prints, drawings, and test work instructions.
+ Maintain inspection records of production parts checked.
+ Conduct 1st piece inspections, in-process inspections, and sample final inspections.
+ Calibrate equipment and create necessary records.
+ Utilize test equipment to ensure conformance to prescribed standards.
+ Read and comprehend written instructions.
+ Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in inspection and quality control.
+ Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.
+ Experience with quality inspection and blueprint reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ At least two years of experience with gauges, micrometers, and similar equipment.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, lean manufacturing environment in a climate-controlled, well-lit, and organized facility. Candidates will be part of the Harting Cable Solutions department, working in a designated station or rotating stations to ensure high-quality production.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
