Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage the shipping and receiving of hazardous materials efficiently. The role requires proficiency in using a sit-down forklift and familiarity with the SAP ERP system.

Responsibilities

+ Handle the shipping and receiving of hazardous materials with care and precision.

+ Operate sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.

+ Utilize the SAP ERP system for inventory management and tracking.

+ Coordinate with FedEx for shipping needs and ensure timely delivery.

+ Perform kitting and palletizing tasks for efficient storage and shipment.

+ Wrap pallets securely for transport.

+ Communicate effectively with clients regarding materials and shipping requirements.

+ Package, pack, and label materials accurately.

+ Use pallet jacks for material handling.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.

+ Experience with SAP ERP system.

+ Knowledge of FedEx shipping processes.

+ Strong communication skills for client interactions.

+ Experience in material handling and hazardous materials management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in palletizing and shrink wrapping.

Work Environment

The work environment involves handling hazardous materials and may have a noticeable chemical odor. Staff are expected to follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate attire for material handling tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
