Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated full-time HVAC Mechanic to provide facilities operations and maintenance services at the courthouse in Richmond. This role requires expertise in handling large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, and hot water heating systems.
+ Maintain and repair domestic water plumbing systems and air handlers.
+ Work on VAV components and other various HVAC equipment and building systems.
+ Operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC environments.
+ Competence in working with large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.
+ General maintenance knowledge for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ EPA Universal and/or CFC certification required.
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Work Environment
Work onsite at the Harrisonburg Federal Courthouse with hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The position includes some on-call responsibilities. Dress professionally to maintain the courthouse's standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lynchburg, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $66560.00/yr.
Health & Welfare Pay: $1,211 per month (per CBA) and it also offers Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, and Pension Plan per the collective bargaining agreement.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Lynchburg,VA.
