Description We are looking for a dedicated Cash Manager to oversee the effective management of cash flow and internal banking operations at a university in Corvallis, Oregon. This role involves ensuring liquidity for short-term needs, maximizing investment earnings, and providing detailed analysis to support financial decision-making. As a Long-term Contract position, the Cash Manager will play a critical role in maintaining confidentiality while collaborating with stakeholders to optimize cash strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the university's internal banking operations to ensure efficient cash flow and liquidity.

• Develop and implement strategies to maximize earnings on investments while meeting short-term financial requirements.

• Collaborate with university departments to forecast both short-term and long-term cash flows.

• Monitor and analyze cash balances and investment accounts to ensure proper allocation and usage.

• Prepare detailed cash flow reports and analyses to support informed financial decision-making.

• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information related to institutional plans.

• Work closely with the Treasurer and other stakeholders to design and implement effective banking structures.

• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance cash management processes.

• Identify and address areas for improvement within cash management operations.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and policies related to cash handling and investments. Requirements

• Proven experience in cash management, cash applications, and cash posting.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop accurate cash flow forecasts and reports.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive financial information.

• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices for cash and investment management.
