    Description

    The Contract Administrator plays a critical role in supporting contract management activities, ensuring smooth project operations, and maintaining compliance in a dynamic commercial construction environment. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role requires significant experience with subcontracts and handling large contract portfolios. {Onsite; Boston, MA}

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Draft, issue, and manage subcontracts for projects

     

    - Review and interpret insurance requirements and contract language, providing clarifications as needed

     

    - Respond to subcontractor inquiries or objections regarding contractual terms

     

    - Maintain organized records by uploading contracts and supporting documents into a document management system

     

    - Track contract progress; reach out to stakeholders to ensure compliance and follow up on outstanding items

     

    - Manage final paperwork submissions (e.g., guarantees, lien waivers) needed for project closeout and owner payment

     

    - Administer a contract portfolio valued at approximately $100M per year
