Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Buford, Georgia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing essential accounting functions and ensuring financial accuracy. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial processes and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all entries are properly recorded.

• Prepare and post journal entries, making necessary adjustments as required.

• Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.

• Generate consolidated financial statements and provide detailed analysis.

• Manage inventory accounting, including tracking and reporting inventory balances.

• Utilize Sage 100 software for accounting tasks and financial reporting.

• Create and maintain spreadsheets using advanced Microsoft Excel functions to support financial analysis.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.

• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures and practices.

• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate consolidated financial statements.

• Experience with inventory accounting, including detailed reporting.

• Proficient in Sage 100 software for accounting and financial management.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a detail-oriented approach.
