    The Role at a glance:

    We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Food Packaging Production Supervisor to lead our packaging operations. The ideal candidate will take charge of the food packaging production line, ensuring that all products are packaged efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with our rigorous quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of food safety regulations.

    What you'll be doing:

    + Directly supervise and manage the food packaging team to achieve and exceed production targets.

    + Monitor and optimize production processes, making real-time adjustments to workflows as necessary.

    + Enforce strict compliance with all food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and GMP guidelines.

    + Train, mentor, and evaluate team to elevate their skills, drive peak performance, and ensure on-time delivery

    + Conduct thorough inspections of packaging equipment and work areas to ensure operational excellence and cleanliness.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to swiftly resolve any production challenges.

    + Implement and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all processes.

    + Maintain precise production records, documenting packaging quantities and conducting quality checks consistently.

    + Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.

    + Address employee concerns decisively and foster a positive, results-oriented team environment.

    What we're looking for:

    + High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in food science, management, or a related field is strongly preferred.

    + Experience in food packaging or production supervision.

    + Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards. Proven leadership and team management skills, capable of inspiring high performance.

    + Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office applications.

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage shifting priorities.

    + Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

    + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

    + Willingness to work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and varying temperatures.
