The Supplier Quality & Development

Organization is responsible for securing the best performing supply base in

quality, reliability, and safety. In this role you will be directly supporting

the Gas Services Central Global Customer Operations business by qualifying and

developing heat exchanger suppliers globally.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

+ Supplier Qualification: Support across-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities, auditing supplierquality management system & processes, etc.

+ Product and Process Qualification: Leadcross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) oncommodity parts according to applicable process descriptions and standards.Leading includes the planning, tracking and reporting of project milestones aswell as budget and resource needs. Support the supplier quality assurancemeasures along with the complete PPQ. Approve supplier process via submittedManufacturing Quality Control Plan.

+ Commodity Circles: Assist commodity strategicbuyers in developing procurement strategies and project planning.

+ Product Development Process: Represent SupplierQuality in cross-functional design reviews

+ Typical equipment of suppliers in scopeincludes fan cooled and plate heat exchangers.

+ Manage various Supplier Quality Managementtools and databases. Ensure data quality and transparency.

What You Bring (requirements)

+ You have a bachelor’s degree or higher inmechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline.Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will beconsidered.

+ At least 10 years preferred professionalexperience in supplier quality management, quality management, or engineeringrelated to Heat Exchangers. Position Class can be adjusted based on thecandidate’s experience.

+ You have experience performing supplierevaluation, qualification, product/ process qualification & technicalsupplier development to provide a global, demand covering, quality assured andcost-effective supply base for responsible suppliers.

+ You have extensive knowledge in welding,coating, material cleaning & preservation, and inspection (NDT Level II& III). CWI / CSWIP 3.1 / IWE certification preferred. NACE (AMPP / FROSIO)certification preferred.

+ Extensive knowledge and experience in auditing.ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred

+ Willingness to travel domestically andinternationally up to 35% of the time. Must have or be able to obtain apassport.

+ Applicants must be legally authorized foremployment in the United States without need for current or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with currentvisa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission

power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission

power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and

generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings,

modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
