We are seeking an experienced Buyer to manage procurement activities and ensure uninterrupted material supply. This role will focus on utilizing MRP/ERP systems to oversee purchase orders (POs), monitor inventory levels, and maintain supply continuity over the next 3 to 6 months. The Buyer will also address vendor-related issues and resolve procurement challenges to support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
+ Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) reports to identify material shortages and initiate purchase orders.
+ Manage and maintain open POs within the ERP system (SAGE).
+ Transfer and reorder POs as needed to ensure supply continuity.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve escalations when materials do not arrive as scheduled.
+ Collaborate with vendors to address issues and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Essential Skills
+ Strong procurement and purchasing expertise.
+ Proficiency in managing purchase orders and inventory.
+ Hands-on experience with MRP processes.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems; SAGE experience preferred.
Qualifications
+ Minimum of 5 years of buying experience in a business environment.
Work Environment
+ On-site for the first 30–60 days, transitioning to one remote day per week thereafter.
+ Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
