    POSITION OPENING

    SCHOOL-AGE CARE LEAD PROGRAM ASSISTANT

    Eden Prairie Schools is seeking a School-Age Care Lead Program Assistant to assist in the implementation and delivery of the Eagle Zone school-age care program, and in the support of out-of-school-time programming at the site level in accordance with quality assessment tools.     POSITION: School-Age Care Lead Program Assistant

     

    CLASSIFICATION: MSEA Level 2

     

    RATE OF PAY: $21.11/hour

     

    HOURS PER DAY: Varies

     

    START & ENDING TIME: Morning shift ranges from 6:15-start of school day

     

    Afternoon shift ranges from end of school day to 6:00pm

     

    WORKING DAYS PER YEAR: Monday-Friday, 172 days/year

     

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Please see the attached job description for complete details of this position.

    Education/Certification:

    + High school graduate or equivalent.

    + First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Training will be required for all staff. The program will offer training to all staff who are not certified.

    Experience:

    + Two years of post secondary education in Child Development, education, or related field, preferred

    + One-year successful experience working with PreK-Grade 5 aged children in a childcare or education setting, preferred.
