    Now Hiring: School-Based Behavior Technicians | 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is currently hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide day-to-day substitute coverage in school settings for the 2025–2026 school year. These roles offer flexible scheduling and are ideal for candidates seeking part-time or full-time opportunities.

    Position Details:

    + Location: Various school sites

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday (any availability accepted)

    + Pay Rate: $25/hour

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Role Type: In-person, day-to-day substitute coverage

    + Grade Levels: PreK–12 (varies by assignment)

    + Opportunities: Full-time roles may become available throughout the school year

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Support students with behavioral and educational needs in classroom settings

    + Implement behavior strategies under the guidance of school staff and behavioral specialists

    + Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to help students meet learning and behavioral goals

    + Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must have taken the Paraeducator test, or hold an AA degree or 48 college credit units

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB clearance (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray as applicable)

    + Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
