    Summary:

    Ensures the quality of practice and compliance as well as the implementation of the evidence-based and evidence-informed models utilized within the organization. Leads in the assessment, development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of a model for professional practice that fosters the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient care, as well as exceptional clinical practice and the professional development of staff. Uses organizational assessment and evaluation strategies to analyze organizational performance and capability and develops strategies to enhance effectiveness of teams and work groups. Provides operational and program development support to advance evidence-based practice across the system.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    Current State of Ohio RN license

    Master’s Degree in Nursing

    Five years clinical experience in applicable nursing setting.

    Nursing certification in specialty area or in nursing management/leadership, quality, or EBP (e.g., CNML, NE-BC)

    Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.

    Current Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association or obtains within 90 days of hire.

    Obtains other advanced life support certifications applicable to practice area within 180 days of hire.

    Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

    Preferred:

    Doctor of Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing.

    Physical Demands:

    May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending and ambulating.

    May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.

    Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email and other communications.

    Ability to read job related documents.

    Ability to use computer
