Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPV HR SPEC (MILITARY) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2004000 / D2003P01 and is part of the NC G1, National Guard (JFHQNC-G1/ Manning Document 1324-40). POSITION IS GS-11/12 DEVELOPMENTAL ONBOARD. PROMOTION CAN HAPPEN WITHOUT COMPETITION IF HIRED AT GS-11 LEVEL. Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, GS-0201-11, you will supervise and manage two or more of the following human resource programs: Health Services Program, to include Line of Duty (LOD), Incapacitation Pay (INCAP), Warrior Transition Unit (WTU), Active Duty Medical Extension (ADME), Medical Retention Processing 2 (MRP2), and Medical Boards to include MOS Medical Review Board (MMRB), Medical Evaluation Board (MEB), and Physical Evaluation Board (PEB); and perform any other assigned duties. As a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, GS-0201-12, you will serve as a personnel supervisor and advise in one or more of the following branches: Education, Automation, Retirement, Boards, Enlisted, Officer, Health Services, Plans and Mobilization Readiness; and perform any other assigned duties. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted (E7 to E9), Warrant (CW2 to CW5) or Officer (O3 to O5) Minimum Requirements: Experience, education or training which involves the exercise of analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and personal responsibility, and application of a substantial body of knowledge of principles, concepts and practices applicable to one or more fields of administration or management. Experience using computer and automation systems. Specialized Experience: Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training involving the administering, delivering, maintaining, advising, and adapting advanced concepts, principles, and theories of Human Resources to the unique organizational, management, and mission requirements. Experience assisting in the development of Human Resources policies and procedures. Experience advising management on Human Resources principles and practices. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
