Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a **Patient Services Manager 2** for **Newark Beth Israel Medical Center** in **Newark, NJ** . The Pateint Services Manager for this location will manage and develop a team of approximately 40-50 union, front-line staff. The ideal candidate for this role must be well organized and possess strong leadership skills. Previous hands-on healthcare operations experience as an opening and or closing manager would be a plus for this role.

What You'll Do

+ Have oversight of the patient services area, production, and diet office

+ Ensure excellence in service quality and delivery schedulesWork with the diet office to review and address any patient menu/meal concern

+ Daily patient meal rounding

+ Identify process improvement initiatives and oversee the implementation

+ Employee training for compliance, safety, sanitation, customer service and HR Functions

+ Ensure and drive efforts for Gold Check Standards & HACCP guidelines

+ Work with the culinary team staff to address any customer complaints or issues relative to food items

What You Bring

+ Possess at least 2 years food management experience with a focus on purchasing, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

+ Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; focus on patient services and satisfaction;

+ Have a strong working knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines;

+ Have a commitment to quality and customer service;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
