What You’ll Do

+ Lead the architecture, design and roadmap for our AI/ML ecosystem — with a heavy emphasis on conversational agents built using Google’s AI stack (e.g., Dialogflow, Cloud Natural Language, TensorFlow, etc.).

+ Architect chatbots and intelligent agents that integrate deeply with approved internal data sources, transforming data into immediate, contextual value for users.

+ Define and implement NLP/NLU pipelines and frameworks to deliver seamless, human-level interactions in chat, voice, or hybrid modes.

+ Build scalable, secure, production-grade AI systems: model deployment, monitoring, lifecycle management, servicing — from prototype to enterprise rollout.

+ Partner with data scientists, software engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to align AI capabilities with real world customer outcomes and business KPIs.

+ Champion best practices in personalization, context-awareness and continuous learning — turning chatbots from reactive assistants into proactive digital agents.

+ Ensure AI systems meet data privacy, security and governance requirements — you’ll be the technical voice of compliance in AI design.

+ Mentor, guide and grow the AI/ML development team, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation and delivery excellence.

+ Prior experience of tread reporting is mandatory.

+ Prior experience of NHTSA is mandatory.

Who You Are

+ You hold a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent field (or comparable hands-on architectural experience).

+ You bring 10+ years of experience in architecting AI/ML systems, and at least 7 years specifically in conversational agent/chatbot architecture and implementation.

+ You have deep experience with Google Cloud’s AI suite (Google Cloud AI Platform, Dialogflow, Cloud Natural Language, Cloud Translation API, TensorFlow) and you know how to turn those tools into business solutions.

+ You are fluent in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and have worked in cloud environments (preferably GCP, but experience in AWS/Azure is a plus).

+ You have successfully integrated chatbots with diverse data sources/APIs and crafted meaningful NLP/NLU experiences.

+ Bonus: Experience with MLOps, speech-recognition/text-to-speech, knowledge graphs/semantic web, reinforcement learning for conversational optimisation.

+ You are an excellent communicator — able to translate complex AI concepts into business language, partner with stakeholders, lead teams and drive delivery.

+ You are ready to be on-site at Auburn Hills at least 2 days a week — you value collaboration, team synergy and the live-drive of innovation.
