Shipping/Receiving Worker

**Location:** Torrington, CT

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

**Pay Rate:** $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Associate to join our team in Torrington, CT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to become a permanent member of our growing company.

As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks related to shipping, receiving, product conversion, and packaging.

Responsibilities

+ Perform shipping and receiving duties

+ Convert and package products according to specifications

+ Operate a pallet jack to move materials within the warehouse (experience a plus)

+ Prepare shipments using various transport companies (UPS, FedEx, etc.)

+ Learn to operate cutting machines (training provided)

+ Maintain an organized and clean work environment

+ Multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

+ May drive a small box truck to make deliveries once hired directly by the company

Qualifications

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

+ Willingness to learn new skills and operate various equipment

+ Experience with a warehouse management computer system is a plus (training available)

+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required for delivery duties (after direct hire)

+ Positive and team-oriented attitude
