Shipping / Receiving Clerk

$18 an hour

1st Shift

7am - 3:30pm

Monday - Friday

Must be able to pass a background check

Must be able to pass a drug screen

+ **Shipping:** Prepare and package outgoing shipments, generate shipping labels, and load goods onto trucks.

+ Inspecting crates

+ Labeling crates

+ **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions.

+ **Coordination:** Communicate with other departments, vendors, and carriers to schedule shipments and resolve issues.

+ **Warehouse maintenance:** Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, and ensure equipment is in working order.

Required skills and qualifications

+ **Physical ability:** Ability to lift heavy items (50+ pounds) and perform physical tasks like standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.

+ **Attention to detail:** Keen focus on details to ensure accuracy in counts, labeling, and damage checks.

+ **Organizational skills:** Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

+ **Technical skills:** Familiarity with inventory and shipping software, barcode scanners, and basic computer applications.

+ **Teamwork:** Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
