Our client, a leader in supply chain management and logistics, is seeking a Mid Atlantic - Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Mid Atlantic - Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the Supply Chain Operations supporting production and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Logistics Coordinator
**Location:** Livonia, MI
Shift:1st & 3rd shift
What's the Job?
+ Monitor supply chain activities to prevent delays and shortages in materials flow from warehouses or suppliers to production lines and worksites.
+ Compile and maintain inventory and status information to optimize movement of materials and parts.
+ Utilize ERP systems to order, receive, ship, and store parts, ensuring records are accurately updated.
+ Ensure required stock levels are maintained on hand or on order to support operational needs.
+ Track shipments, confirm rates with carriers, consolidate loads, and select the most cost-effective transportation methods.
What's Needed?
+ Ability to work onsite in Livonia, MI, with no remote work options.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
+ Basic understanding of ERP systems and inventory management.
+ Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments.
+ Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment supporting supply chain functions.
