Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Technician, Software Verification to join their team. As a Technician, Software Verification, you will be part of the Systems Verification department supporting engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Technician, Software Verification
**Location:** St Paul , MN
Pay Range: $26/hr on w2
What's the Job?
+ Perform system-level test execution and collect data for analysis.
+ Build, maintain, and troubleshoot test fixtures and setups, including ECAD/MCAD, robotics, and motion control systems.
+ Support test method development and validation activities to ensure product quality and compliance.
+ Assist in programming and automation tasks using LabVIEW and Python to streamline testing processes.
+ Document test procedures, results, and observations accurately to support engineering documentation and compliance standards.
What's Needed?
+ Associates degree or technical certification in electronics, mechatronics, or related fields; equivalent experience considered.
+ At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a technician role, preferably within regulated industries such as medical devices.
+ Proficiency with test equipment, tools, and software for data collection and analysis.
+ Familiarity with LabVIEW, Python, SolidWorks, and Altium is advantageous.
+ Strong documentation, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
